A. Well I'm sort of agreement with this. Out of all the actors out there, Bale is their best choice? Plus is Marvel trying to screw up DC's Batman franchise?

B. 2nd that screw. Dr. Fate is a moaning, emo type in a helmet that practically controls him. Plus, even though he often fights against it, DC lore pretty much hems in what can be done because of the need between Order & Chaos. Dr. Strange, on the other hand, is in charge of making sure the Marvel universe is safe from other dimensional threats.

C. I have a third point. I wish comics wouldn't be so Earth centric. If Dr. Strange is the "Sorcerer Supreme" for our entire universe, how come he's never away stopping some alien sorcerer from accidentally opening up a portal for Dormammu to use against us? I mean at least the Green Lanterns are shown as a group policing everything. You'd almost expect a 'Supreme Sorcerer' for most sentient races, maybe having a bit of a 'non-aggression' pact so they don't get involved otherwise how come we haven't seen any Kree or Skrull sorcerers in the fight? (Technically we have seen Skrull sorcerers in the form of Dire Wraiths but since they are the 'Deviants' of the Skrull race, they might not count)

4. Dr. Strange? Sheesh! Can't we get a decent FF movie first?

Much to my surprise (I hated the first film), I mildly enjoyed Rise of the Silver Surfer.

I really think this was a rumor started by some geek that saw The Prestige and thought, "Christian Bale good at looking magic like. Christian Bale be good Dr Strange. Me moron that have no vision." As far as I know, there hasn't even been Marvel talk for a Strange movie, let alone casting rumors. I assure you we will know who plays Cap'n USA before we even hear anything about Dr Strange. Let's worry about who is going to play the far superior magical character Dr Orpheus in the live action Venture Bros. movie.


Oh, and Dr Fate is a big time pussy.



Oh, and one more thing...I highly doubt Marvel would sign someone for what would obviously be a multi picture deal with someone already attached to TWO multi pic deals.

That just seems greedy and opportunistic of Bale. And I do really love him, but this could make me turn that corner. I am not a fan of gratuitous overexposure.

Bull pucky. Strange can barely handle the mindless ones, let alone major advesaries. Hell Doom put him in his place once. Fate on the other hand goes up against gods and the likes of Modoru that tear reality assunder, and comes out ahead.
